Oh hello summer

As I'm sure you are all aware we have finally seen Summer! This weekend was boiling! We decided to goto Easington beach on the yorkshire East coast, spurn point near enough. I love this place and have always come since I was a little girl, and my mum always use to come with my Gran and Grandad when she was little, so it was really nice to share my favourite place with my boyfriend. There is nothing there, no amusments, no rides no nothing, it is literally a beach and a bird reserve. The beach has a lot of WW2 bunkers on it that use to be on the coast and have collapsed into the sea. The coast is literally wearing away, every time you come it's different. Walk half a mile and your at Kilnsea Beach which is basically the beach then a road then the River Humber, sometimes the sea completely takes the road and the people living at the light house and coast guard are cut off from the main line. It's a beautfiul gem that many people don't realise exists. We had a picnic on the beach, played tennis and went for a long walk along the deserted beach, paddled in rock pools and walked along the road in between the sea and the river. It was a prefect summers day.
Much love
